اور اے محمدؐ ، یہ لوگ تم سے ذُوالقرنین کے بارے میں پُوچھتے ہیں۔ ان سے کہو، میں اس کا کچھ حال تم کو سُناتا ہوں۔ ہم نے اس کو زمین میں اقتدار عطا کر رکھا تھا اور اسے ہر قسم کے اسباب و وسائل بخشے تھے۔ اس نے (پہلے مغرب کی طرف ایک مہم کا) سر و سامان کیا۔ حتیٰ کہ جب وہ غروبِ آفتاب کی حَد تک پہنچ گیا تو اس نے سُورج کو ایک کالے پانی میں ڈوبتے دیکھا اور وہاں اُسے ایک قوم ملی۔ ہم نے کہا ”اے ذوالقرنین، تجھے یہ مقدرت بھی حاصل ہے کہ ان کو تکلیف پہنچائے اور یہ بھی کہ اِن کے ساتھ نیک رویّہ اختیار کرے۔“ (سورہ الكہف، 83-86)

اَللّٰہُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی سَیِّدِنَا وَمَوْلَانَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلٰی اٰلِہٖ وَسَلِّمْ

“اور اس دیوار کا معاملہ یہ ہے کہ یہ دو یتیم لڑکوں کی ہے جو اس شہر میں رہتے ہیں۔ اِس دیوار کے نیچے اِن بچوں کے لیے ایک خزانہ مدفون ہے اور ان کا باپ ایک نیک آدمی تھا۔ اس لیے تمہارے ربّ نے چاہا کہ یہ دونوں بچے بالغ ہوں اور اپنا خزانہ نکال لیں۔ یہ تمہارے ربّ کی رحمت کی بنا پر کیا گیا ہے، میں نے کچھ اپنے اختیار سے نہیں کر دیا ہے۔ یہ ہے حقیقت اُن باتوں کی جن پر تم صبر نہ کر سکے۔” (سورہ الكہف، 82)

اُس کشتی کا معاملہ یہ ہے کہ وہ چند غریب آدمیوں کی تھی جو دریا میں محنت مزدوری کرتے تھے میں نے چاہا کہ اسے عیب دار کر دوں، کیونکہ آگے ایک ایسے بادشاہ کا علاقہ تھا جو ہر (صحیح سالم) کشتی کو زبردستی چھین لیتا تھا۔ رہا وہ لڑکا، تو اس کے والدین مومن تھے، ہمیں اندیشہ ہوا کہ یہ لڑکا اپنی سرکشی اور کفر سے ان کو تنگ کرے گا، اس لیے ہم نے چاہا کہ ان کا رب اس کے بدلے ان کو اس سے بہتر پاکیزگی واﻻ اور اس سے زیاده محبت اور پیار كرنے واﻻ بچہ عنایت فرمائے۔ (سورہ الكہف، 79-81)

پھر وہ آگے چلے یہاں تک کہ ایک بستی میں پہنچے اور وہاں کے لوگوں سے کھانا مانگا مگر انہوں نے ان دونوں کی ضیافت سے انکار کر دیا۔ وہاں انہوں نے ایک دیوار دیکھی جو گرا چاہتی تھی اُس شخص نے اس دیوار کو پھر قائم کر دیا موسیٰؑ نے کہا "اگر آپ چاہتے تو اس کام کی اُجرت لے سکتے تھے۔" اُس نے کہا "بس میرا تمہارا ساتھ ختم ہوا اب میں تمہیں ان باتوں کی حقیقت بتاتا ہوں جن پر تم صبر نہ کر سکے۔ (سورہ الكہف، 77-78)
