World renowned Turkish series ‘Dirillis Ertugrul’ airs in Pakistan

On orders of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan, Turkish historical drama serial Dirilis Ertugrul has started airing on PTV Home with Urdu dubbing.

#ErtugrulUrduPTV was the top trend on Pakistan’s Twitter on the night the first episode was aired. People appreciated this effort of PTV.

The Urdu dubbed version of the serial is titled ‘Ertugrul Gazi’ and the series airs every night at 7:55 PM on PTV Home. Dirilis Ertugrul will be aired throughout Ramadan on PTV.

Now that Dirilis Ertugrul is airing, Prime Minister Imran Khan shared why Pakistan’s youth needs to watch this Turkish blockbuster. He said that it shows the culture and values of Islam.

Prime Minister also stated that Bollywood is copying Hollywood in the worst possible way. He said that they have forgotten their roots and this is effecting our youth badly.
