Is The Middle East Crisis Political Or Religious? The Case For A Theological War
I had already written in some of articles that Israel-Palestine Conflict is not a political issue or territorial dispute. Basically, it is a religious conflict as the Zionists want to establish Greater Israel.
In 1992, my book titled “The Testament of Truth”, in a chapter captioned “Democratic Palestine”, I had written, let the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims have a democratic Palestine and work together having their share in the government according to their representation in parliament.
In Lebanon and Nigeria, the Christians and the Muslims are living together peacefully sharing political power on the basis of representation in parliament. In Palestine, the stake holders can amicably share the power according to their representation in the parliament. But this dream shattered as Israel has thrown into dustbin all amicable democratic solutions. Israel has even violated the UN resolution of Two States Formula. As Israel dreams to establish Greater Jewish State per the agenda of a Zionist Herzl Theodore, it is acting as a terrorist and aggressive state.
The Vision of Greater Israel and Its Expansionist Designs
In my book mentioned above, I had written:
“The Zionists are endeavouring to achieve their long-cherished goal of Greater Israel from the Nile to the Euphrates. The evil expansionist designs of the Zionists after the occupation of Jerusalem and Al-Quds are to annex the holy lands and places of the Muslims such as Kaaba and the holy shrine of the Prophet (PBUH).”
The Zionists are extremists. The moderate Jews do not support them in their agenda. The Zionists are anti-Christianity and anti-Islam. But very cunningly, they have hoodwinked the Christian orthodoxy to support them as Muslims are anti-Christ. They also tell the Jews that Muslims are anti-Moses. In this way, the Zionists are winning the sympathies of common Jews and Christians against Muslims.
The Quranic Perspective on Moses and Jesus
Are the Muslims anti-Moses or anti-Christ? Very briefly, let us see what the Quran says about them. In my book titled, “The Message of Islam” published in New York in 2004, there is a chapter titled “Islam on Moses and Jesus”. In this chapter, I have explicitly explained that The Quran gives great respect to Moses and Jesus as the prophets of God.
Harold Lamb in in his book titled “The Crusades”, writes that Pope Urban stirred the Christian world against the Muslim world using hot rhetoric and branded Islam as anti-Christ. Today, the same story is being repeated as people like Joe Biden, Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu are igniting the flames of hatred and prejudice against Muslims. They are racists and religious maniacs.
The Theological Bond of the Abrahamic Faiths
Deep down, the Israeli war against Palestinians is not political or territorial, it is a religious war. It seems incumbent to mention that Judaism, Christianity and Islam are the offshoots of Abrahamic faith. Moses is the most mentioned prophet in the Quran who believed in Monotheism. The spiritual sublimation and miracles of Jesus are mentioned in the Quran.
In Surah Al-Baqarah (The Heifer), in verse 62, the Quran gives glad tidings to the Muslims, the Jews, the Christians and the Sabians, who believe in God and the day of judgment and are righteous ones.
In Surah Al-Aaraf in verse 159, the Quran about the Jews says: “Of the people of Moses, there is a section who guides and enforces justice in the light of truth”. There are many verses in the Holy Quran about the glory of Moses. Similarly, the Quran testifies the prophethood of Jesus Christ and the glory of Mary.
Revering Mary and the Christ in Islamic Scripture
In Surah Ale Imran, there are several verses in the praise of Jesus Christ. The verse 42 of the Quran says: “O Mary, behold; God hath selected thee and made thee pure and raised thee above all the women of the world”. Then in the same Chapter in verse 45, the Quran says: “O Mary, Behold, God sends thee the glad tidings, through a word from Him, (of son), who shall be known as Christ Jesus, son of Mary of great honour in this world and world hereafter. And he shall speak unto men in his cradle, and a grown man and shall be of the righteous”.
The verses of Surah Ale Imran from 33 to 61 deal with the matters and glory of Jesus Christ. In the Quran, Jesus is regarded as a righteous prophet and Holy Spirit. How can the Quran be regarded as anti-Moses or anti-Jesus? This all feud and fuss are created against Islam by the bigoted Jewish rabbis and Christian priests. Islamophobia is an obnoxious term created by such fanatical people. Islam is the religion of peace, justice, equality and humanity. The future of humanity lies in peaceful and moderate mindset. Religious harmony and tolerance are needed. Racism and religious extremism are great threats to humanity. Let briefly, the vital point of the present situation of the Middle East Crisis be analysed.
The Economic Burden and Political Exploitation of Americans
Today, eminent writer and intellectual from North Carolina, America Ms. Linda Barto has posted very sensitive and alarming post. It is as such:

Is it a caricature? Is it a joke? It is an undeniable fact. The money of American taxpayers is being spent on war and war-mongers. A common American is facing immense economic problems. This is the height of foolishness and foppery. The Americans are being exploited and ruined. They can’t pay mortgage. They can’t afford the fees of their children. They are hand to mouth. On the other side, a billionaire President Trump is bashing like a jester and Shakespearian Clown. Absolutely irresponsible person.
The Perilous Nexus of Trump and Netanyahu
This was the greatest mistake of the Americans to elect such a rash person as the president of a Super Power. The nexus of Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu is very dangerous for world peace. Both are racists. Muslims respect Jesus Christ as a great prophet and chosen spiritual figure of God, while the Roman Jews had crucified him as the Christians believe. The Jews hate Jesus while Muslims love Jesus. Then what is the point of supporting the Jewish genocide of the civilians of Gaza? They are massacred because they are Muslims. Their houses, schools, hospitals and markets have been destroyed. The women, children and youth are randomly shot dead. Is this the teaching of Prophet Moses?
The moderate Jews worldwide are protesting against the unprecedented violence of the Israelis in Gaza. Actually, theses predators are Zionists. Judaism is not Zionism. The whole Christian community has condemned the genocide of Israel in Gaza and are opposing the attacks of America and Israel on Iran as well. It is naked aggression. It is against international law and UN charter.
Challenging Doctrines and the Two-State Solution
Some Christian bigots believe that when the Israeli Jews will succeed in establishing Zionist state in Israel and achieve Greater Israel, then Jesus will come and rule over. It is not a Biblical concept. It is papal self-created doctrine. Will the Jews who had crucified Jesus, give power to Jesus? Will not again they crucify him? Is there any logic in the fake concoction of the hard liner Christians?
The best way to stop feud in the Middle East is the implementation of UN resolution which is based on Two States Formula. Two independent states. The State of Israel and the State of Palestine. Israel is aggressor. America should pressurize Israel to stop violence and act on the UN Security Council resolution. Both, Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu are pushing the world to Third World War and that will be unfortunate and unimaginable collapse of mankind and collateral destruction.
The Threat of Global War and Economic Shambles
The present Israel-Iran war has caused oil crisis. The world economy is suffering and is in shambles. American money is being wasted by supporting Israel. America must remain away from this mess and seek amicable solution of this crisis. Americans are a democratic and sensible nation. They do not want war. Donald Trump is behaving like a King. His family has matrimonial relations with Jewish families. International relations and world politics are different from family relations. He has lost sanity. Both, Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump are war criminals and must be impeached. They must be thrown out of their offices. Who is aggressor? Israel or Palestine? Who is aggressor? Iran or Israel? If Iran and Palestine are aggressors, the whole world must oppose them. We are not partisans. The men of conscience and the lovers of peace and the advocates of democracy and humanity must protest against the aggressors, whosoever they are.
Many countries, including major Western countries have refused to join the war against Iran and asked Trump not to play with flames. If Russia and China jump into this mess, then nobody would be in a position to stop Third World War. Great British philosopher Bertrand Russell in his book titled “Has Man a Future”, had warned about the hazards of Third World War. I think Trump needs to read this book. Generally, people believe that Trump needs proper education and training to be a sensible person. He is violating international law and UN charter. He has brought bad reputation to America. America is being isolated by his fascist policies. He has become a plaything in the hands of Netanyahu. His policies are not in the favour of Americans.
A Final Appeal for Sanity and Peace
If the people want to live with honour, peace and prosperity, the rulers like Netanyahu and Trump have to be kept away from government. It is highly sorrowful that the American presidents are abetting the terrorism of Israel. The former American president Joe Biden visited Israel when the war between Israel and Palestine started two years ago and said that he came to Israel to support Israeli and is not less than a Zionist. Being a Christian, how he announced to be a Zionist? Wasn’t it the religious duty of the American priests to raise a voice against him? The Jews had crucified Jesus; not the Muslims. We love Jesus. Summing up, it is strongly appealed to American President Donald Trump to use his good offices to maintain peace in the Middle East by getting the conflict resolved according to UN resolutions and then desire for Nobel Prize. The American collaboration with Israel against Iran will open the door of Third World War. The war mongers do not deserve Nobel Prize. Nobel Prize is for peace-makers.
