The Ignoble Dance Of Tresses By The Girls Of UAE

On this Tress Dance, some people have commented and written that this is the traditional cultural dance of the people of UAE and one should not look at it from Islamic view point. Some others have sarcastically and sardonically criticized this custom calling it un-Islamic. In my opinion, the people of UAE are Muslims and the Muslims are not permitted to celebrate any pre-Islamic custom that collides with the teachings of Islam.

With due respect, and agreeing with you that the dance of tresses of women is the part of the culture of the people of UAE, and it has nothing to do with Islam. These are your comments on the protest of Ms. Farzana Naheed posted on Facebook. She has written that such a dance is un-Islamic. You have discarded her plea.

The simple question is: Is it Pre-Islamic culture? If so, then are the Muslims of UAE exempted from Islamic norms, practices and laws after embracing Islam? Does Islam permit such dance of ladies’ tresses? It may be in Monarchic Islam but it is not the Mohammedan Islam.

The Arab monarchy is the legacy of Yazid, who used to drink wine and see the dance of young girls and commit adultery. This show of the rulers of UAE is absolutely shocking and shameful. Did the President of America Donald Trump demand such ignoble customs? He didn’t. Then, why such Un-Islamic rite was presented? Only to show the American president that the Arabs are very liberal and modern and have adopted the American and Western values and culture. They are not fundamentalists. They made economic pacts of trillions of dollars with America to please the American president who had once publicly said:

“If I decide, I can finish all Arab monarchies in one week.”

All Arab monarchs are afraid of America; hence they lick the shoes of Americans. They are American stooges. They are practically the slaves of America. Should we blame America? No; not at all. America is a superpower. The Americans have established strong institutions. They have scientific knowledge and scientific mindset. America is a military and economic power. Americans are democratic. It is their natural right to rule over the slaves.

The Arabs are non-scientific minded people. They are rash, rude, rough and rotten. They are dictators and sectarian. The Arab rulers spend trillions of dollars on enjoyment. Instead of using Petrol dollars on science and technology, they spend this money on wine and womanizing. The rich Arabs are seen in the clubs and casinos of America and Europe, while the poor Arabs live miserable life. The Arab rulers do not know where to spend this money. Under such circumstances, what else can be expected from the Arab monarchs, except offering aeroplane of many million dollars by Qatar, and trillions of dollars packed by Saudi Arabia and dance of ringlets by UAE to America president?

The Arab monarchs have never taken any action or interest in the matter of Palestine and Kashmir. Shame on them. Had they spent their money to improve the economic condition of other Muslim countries and supported them in being advanced in science and technology, they would not have been the slaves of America. America has not made them slaves; their incompetence and irrational mindset has made them the shoe-lickers.

There are the following traditional cultural dances of UAE.

• The Ayyalah: it is a traditional stick dance simulating war, showcasing strength and bravery.
• The Luba: A dance illustrating victory, pride, courage, often performing at weddings.
• The Heban: A dance form using a stringed instrument for tempo and melody, commonly performed at celebrations.
• The Tanoura Dance: A folklore dance featuring colourful skirts, popular in UAE
• Belly Dance: It is also called “Raqs-e-Sharqi”. An exotic performance art with complex moves and invigorating music, often performing during desert safaris.

There is no Tress Dance in the traditional dances of Arabs or of UAE. Islam strictly ordains to ladies to cover head. Head sheet or scarf is prescribed by Islamic teachings. Most of the Muslim jurists deduce the inference from the Quran and from the sayings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) for ladies to cover head. How a Muslim country can show the dance of tresses?

Some Arab monarchs have been enjoying Naked Dance of women. Can such ignoble practices be continued as a legacy of Arab monarchic traditions? The people who are supporting or justifying this Dance of Tresses by the rulers of UAE are either entirely ignorant of Islamic norms or are defending this ignoble practice by some calculated designs.
