اور ہم نے زمین میں پہاڑ بنائے کہ ان کا وزن زمین کو لڑکھڑانے نہ دے، اور اس میں کشادہ راہیں بنا دیں، شاید کہ یہ لوگ اپنا راستہ معلوم کر لیں۔ اور ہم نے آسمان کو ایک محفوظ چھت بنا دیا، مگر یہ ہیں کہ اس کی نشانیوں کی طرف توجہ ہی نہیں کرتے۔ اور وہ اللہ ہی ہے جس نے رات اور دن بنائے اور سُورج اور چاند کو پیدا کیا۔ ان میں سے ہر ایک اپنے اپنے مدار میں تَیر رہا ہے۔ (سوره الانبیاء، 31-33)

26 ذی الحجہ: حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کی شہادت

اَللّٰہُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی سَیِّدِنَا وَمَوْلَانَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلٰی اٰلِہٖ وَسَلِّمْ

24 ذو الحجہ : مباہلہ كا دن

اور جو شخص ان میں سے یہ کہے کہ خدا کے سوا میں معبود ہوں تو اسے ہم دوزخ کی سزا دیں گے اور ظالموں کو ہم ایسی ہی سزا دیا کرتے ہیں۔ کیا کافروں نے (جنہوں نے نبی کی بات ماننے سے انکار کر دیا ہے) نہیں دیکھا کہ آسمان اور زمین دونوں ملے ہوئے تھے تو ہم نے جدا جدا کر دیا۔ اور تمام جاندار چیزیں ہم نے پانی سے بنائیں۔ پھر یہ لوگ ایمان کیوں نہیں لاتے؟ (سوره الانبیاء، 29-30)
