عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا كہ مشرق کی طرف سے کچھ لوگ آئیں گے، جن کے ساتھ سیاہ جھنڈے ہوں گے، وہ خیر طلب کریں گے، لوگ انہیں نہ دیں گے تو وہ لوگوں سے جنگ کریں گے، اور (اللہ کی طرف سے) ان کی مدد ہو گی، پھر وہ جو مانگتے تھے وہ انہیں دیا جائے گا، یہ لوگ اس وقت اپنے لیے حکومت قبول نہ کریں گے یہاں تک کہ میرے اہل بیت میں سے ایک شخص کو یہ حکومت سونپ دیں گے، وہ شخص زمین کو اس طرح عدل سے بھر دے گا جس طرح لوگوں نے اسے ظلم سے بھر دیا تھا، لہٰذا تم میں سے جو شخص اس زمانہ کو پائے وہ ان لوگوں کے ساتھ (لشکر میں) شریک ہو، اگرچہ اسے گھٹنوں کے بل برف پر کیوں نہ چلنا پڑے۔" [سنن ابن ماجه، حدیث 4082]

اَللّٰہُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی سَیِّدِنَا وَمَوْلَانَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلٰی اٰلِہٖ وَسَلِّمْ

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ صحابہ میں سے کچھ لوگوں نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ کون لوگ ہیں جن کا ذکر اللہ نے کیا ہے کہ اگر ہم پلٹ جائیں گے تو وہ ہماری جگہ لے آئے جائیں گے، اور وہ ہم جیسے نہ ہوں گے (سورہ محمد: 38)۔ سلمان فارسی رضی الله عنہ، رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پہلو میں بیٹھے ہوئے تھے، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے سلمان فارسی رضی الله عنہ کی ران پر ہاتھ رکھا اور فرمایا: "یہ اور ان کی قوم، قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے! اگر ایمان ثریا کے ساتھ بھی معلق ہو گا تو بھی فارس کے کچھ لوگ اسے پا لیں گے۔” [سنن ترمذی، حدیث: 3261]

اور موسیٰ غصّے اور غم کی حالت میں اپنی قوم کے پاس واپس آئے اور کہنے لگے کہ “اے قوم کیا تمہارے پروردگار نے تم سے ایک اچھا وعدہ نہیں کیا تھا؟ کیا اس کی مدت تمہیں دراز معلوم ہوئی، یا تم نے چاہا کہ تم پر تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے غضب نازل ہو اور (اس لئے) تم نے مجھ سے جو وعدہ کیا تھا اس کے خلاف کیا؟” (سورہ طٰہٰ، 86)

اور اے موسیٰؑ اور کیا چیز تمہیں اپنی قوم سے پہلے لے آئی۔ موسیٰؑ نے عرض کیا "وہ بس میرے پیچھے آ ہی رہے ہیں، میں جلدی کر کے تیرے حضور آ گیا ہوں اے میرے رب، تاکہ تو مجھ سے خوش ہو جائے۔" فرمایا ”ہم نے تمہارے پیچھے تمہاری قوم کو آزمائش میں ڈال دیا ہے اور سامری نے اُنہیں گمراہ کر ڈالا ہے۔“ (سورہ طٰہٰ، 83-85)
