حضرت عبدالرحمٰن بن ابی لیلیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ حضور نبی اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا: “کوئی بندہ اس وقت تک مومن نہیں ہو سکتا جب تک کہ میں اس کے نزدیک اس کی جان سے بھی محبوب تر نہ ہو جاؤں اور میرے اھلِ بیت اسے اس کے اہل خانہ سے محبوب تر نہ ہو جائیں اور میری اولاد اسے اپنی اولاد سے بڑھ کر محبوب نہ ہو جائے اور میری ذات اسے اپنی ذات سے محبوب تر نہ ہو جائے۔” اسے امام طبرانی اور امام بیہقی نے روایت کیا ہے۔

حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما بیان کرتے ہیں کہ حضور نبی اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا: "اللہ تعالیٰ سے محبت کرو ان نعمتوں کی وجہ سے جو اس نے تمہیں عطا فرمائیں اور مجھ سے محبت کرو اللہ کی محبت کے سبب اور میرے اہل بیت سے میری محبت کی خاطر محبت کرو۔" اس حدیث کو امام ترمذی اور حاکم نے روایت کیا ہے۔

حضرت عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ حضور نبی اکرم ﷺ صبح کے وقت ایک اونی منقش چادر اوڑھے ہوئے باہر تشریف لائے تو آپ کے پاس حضرت حسن بن علی رضی اللہ عنہما آئے تو آپ ﷺ نے اُنہیں اُس چادر میں داخل کر لیا، پھر حضرت حسین رضی اللہ عنہ آئے اور وہ بھی ان کے ہمراہ چادر میں داخل ہو گئے، پھر سیدہ فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا آئیں اور آپ ﷺ نے انھیں بھی اس چادر میں داخل کر لیا، پھر حضرت علی کرم اللہ وجہہ آئے تو آپ ﷺ نے اُنہیں بھی چادر میں لے لیا۔ پھر آپ ﷺ نے یہ آیت مبارکہ پڑھی: ’’اے اھلِ بیت! اللہ تعالیٰ تو یہی چاہتا ہے کہ تم سے (ہر طرح کی) آلودگی دُور کر دے اور تم کو (گناہوں سے) خوب پاک و صاف کر دے۔‘‘ اسے امام مسلم اور حاکم نے روایت کیا ہے۔

حضرت زید بن ارقم سے روایت ہے، کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: "میں تم میں دو عظیم چیزیں (ثقلین) چھوڑے جا رہا ہوں، ان میں سے پہلی اللہ تعالیٰ کی کتاب ہے جس میں ہدایت اور نور ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ کی کتاب پر عمل کرو اور اسے مضبوطی سے تھام لو۔ اور دوسری میرے اہل بیت ہیں۔ میں تمہیں اپنے اہل بیت کے متعلق اللہ کی یاد دلاتا ہوں، میں تمہیں اپنے اہل بیت کے متعلق اللہ کی یاد دلاتا ہوں، میں تمہیں اپنے اہل بیت کے متعلق اللہ کی یاد دلاتا ہوں۔" (صحیح مسلم)

حنش کنانی کا بیان ہے کہ میں نے حضرت ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ کو درِ کعبہ پکڑ کر یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ "جس نے مجھے پہچان لیا وہ تو جانتا ہی ہے اور اگر کسی نے نہیں پہچانا تو پہچان لے میں ابوذر ہوں اور میں نے رسول اکرم ﷺ کی زبان سے سناہے کہ میرے اہلبیت (علیھم السلام) کی مثال سفینہ نوح علیہ السلام کی مثال ہے کہ جو اس پر سوار ہوگیا وہ نجات پاگیا اور جو الگ ہوگیا وہ ڈوب مرا۔" (مستدرک)
