Recognition Of An Aggressor And Usurper Unacceptable By Pakistani Nation
I have heard Syeda Qudsiya Mashhadi‘s opinion and of Mr Hassan Abdullah on the issue of Israel. I agree with them both that being Muslims, we must not recognize Israel under the circumstances.
I am impelled to say that Israel is an aggressor and usurper. According to OSLO accord, Israel is bound to accept Two State solution. Unless Israel recognizes Palestine as an Independent State and withdraws from the occupied Palestinian territory, the question of recognition of Israel does not arise.
The Arab states have become playthings in the hands of America and Israel just to save their monarchies. Pakistan is an Islamic State based on Two Nation Theory. Its constitution is Islamic. Dr Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam had categorically condemned the intentions and excesses of the Zionists and supported the genuine cause of the Palestinians. If we recognize Israel, it is tantamount to opposing and nullifying the conviction and stance of the founders of Pakistan.
Historically, the prophet of Islam made a pact of peace with the Jews of Medina on his arrival to Medina from Makkah. But when the Jews breached that Pact and manoeuvred with the idolaters of Makkah to attack Muslims and supported them in the Battle of Trench, the Holy Prophet PBUH attacked them and punished them after the victory of Battle of Khyber.
The Zionists are the arch enemies of Islam and Muslims. Any Pakistani Government that recognizes Israel will be vanquished. It is a very serious and sensitive issue. In my book titled “The Testament of Truth” Published in 1992, I had thrown ample light on the Middle East conflict. Israel is the illegitimate babe of America.
As a humanitarian and universalist, I have no spite, scold or scoff against any nation or community. But, I can not compromise with aggressors. The holy Quran ordains to curb the aggressors. India is the aggressor in Kashmir and Israel is the aggressor in Palestine. Whoever comprises with these two states is neither a Muslim nor a human.
