Calling Judaism Before It’s Too Late: Sheikh Imran N. Hosein

The well-known Islamic scholar and expert in Eschatology, Sheikh Imran N. Hosein talked about Islam’s comparison with Judaism in his latest video. He said that the Jews and the Muslims are the only two peoples in the world who do not eat pork due to religious prohibition. Jews and Muslims are also the only people who perform male circumcision as a religious duty. Most importantly, they are both the people who worship only One God. So there is much in common between the two.

He also talked at length about the divine prophecy in the Quran where God has promised that all of the People of the Book will believe in Jesus (PBUH) before his death:

There will be none among the People of the Book who will not believe in Jesus before Jesus’ death, and on the Day of Resurrection he will be a witness against them. (Quran 4:159)

And this is where the Muslims part company from the Jews. The followers of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the followers of Prophet Jesus (PBUH) believe as a matter of their faith that Prophet Jesus (PBUH) is coming back in flesh and spirit. Jews are going to have to accept him as the Messiah.
