Farooq Abdullah’s family is the family of traitors to Kashmiris

According to TV news Farooq Abdullah, the former Chief Minister of Indian administered Kashmir is granted further three months sentence by the court. He is in jail. He deserves more punishment than incarceration as he and his father Sheikh Abdullah betrayed the Kashmiris. I am impelled to briefly write a few lines about this conscienceless and treacherous family so that our younger generation should know the facts about them.

Till today, the Kashmiris are the victim of the impudence and improvidence of the dirty politics of Late Sheikh Abdullah. His imperious and selfish mindset is the cause of all troubles of the Kashmiris. He impaired the stance of the Muslims and got immured the whole nation of the Kashmiris. He opposed Two Nation Theory and left Muslim Conference and made National Conference.

Like Hussain Ahmed Madani, Abul Kalam Azad, Abdul Ghaffar Khan (Bacha Khan) and Abdul Samad Khan Achakzai , he supported the stance of Indian Congress. Quaid- e-Azam asked him not to play in the hands of Nehru but he became a plaything and damaged the Kashmiris cause.

The ancestors of Pundit Nehru were Kashmiris. He wanted Kashmir to accede with India. He duped Sheikh Abdullah and asked him that if supported him, he would make Kashmir an Independent State and make him the Prime Minister. Sheikh Abdullah was cheated when he started to make Kashmir an Independent State and was jailed by Nehru. He met his fate. This story can be read in his autobiography titled Atish-e-Chinar.

Eventually , he compromised with Nehru to support Indian stance and was released from jail after ten years of imprisonment. Once again he became Chief Minister of Kashmir and announced to be an ally of India. Then his son Farooq Abdullah and then his grand son Omar Farooq became the chief ministers. This family is the family of traitors and highly abhorrable.

After the revocation of Articles 370 and 35- A from the Indian constitution, they see no political future and have announced: “ we are betrayed by the Indians. “ When Quaid-e-Azam asked his father not to be trapped by Nehru, he did not heed to his advice.

When he was the chief minister of Kashmir, he visited England and for a few days stayed in Birmingham at the residence of his family friend Mr. Mumtaz Ratwi. Mr. Mumtaz Ratwi told him about me that Dr. Maqsood Jafri is a well known poet, intellectual and a politician and former Adviser to the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir and also remained Adviser to Ms. Benazir Bhutto, the Prime Minister of Pakistan of the Political Research Cell. Farooque Abdullah got much interested and through him gave me the invitation to visit Srinagar. I said sorry and did not accept the invitation as I hate his whole family who are Pro- India.

Under the circumstances, I strongly appeal to all Kashmiris to launch a colossal movement wordwide against India and support the stance of Kashmiris that Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan. This issue must be resolved amicably under the UN resolutions.
