Twenty-Five Years After 9/11: America Must Rethink Its Foreign Policy
I endorse the view point of eminent intellectual journalist Syed Mushahid Hussain. He has written:
“25 years after 9/ 11, US has not learnt any lesson at all.”
He further opines:
“After 9/11, US squandered $8 trillion, devastating Afghanistan, Iraq, former FATA of Pakistan, Syria, Libya, Somalia, and Yemen with 324,000 bombs, missiles, and drones, but to no avail.”
Israel First Policy of America has brought immense disaster in the Middle East. It must be noted that the Gaza plight has shuddered the American public and they have turned against the US policies which are made under the influence and direction of Zionists living in America. There are many Jews in America who are against the plan of Great Israel. These are only Jewish hardliners who have disrupted the peace of the world. As the Jewish lobby in America is financially very strong and politically very vibrant, they exploit the Americans and financially support some American senators and congressmen.
The Arabs have much money but no mind. If they engage the influential personalities, Israel will lose political influence. Besides, political matters, there is a strong lobby of the Zionists and dogmatic Christians, who give religious zeal to Israel- Palestine issue. The Christian dogmatic sections believe that when the Palestinian Muslims will be ostracized, killed, driven out from Palestine, then Jesus Christ will come and rule over Palestine. The enlightened Christians do not support or endorse such beliefs.
Theodore Herzl, who gave the notion of Great Israel, was a religious maniac and his followers are Zionists. They justify the genocide and massacre of the innocent civilians of Gaza without an iota of shame. They think it their religious duty to kill the Palestinians.
I agree with Syed Mushahid Hussain that America has waisted trillions of dollars in military excursions but to no avail. It is a hard fact that the Americans are facing serious economic crisis and their life is in jeopardy. They need jobs, bread and butter. The money being wasted in wars by American administration must be used for the welfare of American people. America is a super power and is expected to help nations in resolving issues and is not supposed to jump into fray.
To resolve the Middle East crisis, America is supposed to be neutral and impartial. The aggressor must be harnessed. The world is swiftly drifting to Third World War by the policies of Israel. The world needs peace, prosperity and stability. America must play positive role in international affairs. It will be in the interest of America and the whole world, if justice is maintained and injustice uprooted.
Once the former president of America Mr. Bush had said: “I don’t understand why people in the world hate America.” Recently the apt answer to this question has been given by Ms. Hillary Clinton, the former American Foreign Minister who is the wife of former President of America Mr. Clinton. She said that America is creating enemies in the world because of its wrong policies.
Instead of saying: “Israel First”, America should say: “Peace First.” The president of America Mr. Donald Trump is threatening Canada and Mexico as well on political and economic grounds. It is destroying the position and image of America.
