Straight from the heart!

For the last few days I have heard insane opinions regarding Yemen conflict from people both in the ‘Saudi camp’ and the ‘Iranian camp’. All these ‘Pakistanis’ seem to have forgotten that Pakistan’s interest should be paramount for us. I am a big supporter of the concept of One Ummah but that does not mean that Pakistan starts paying lip service to one of the most dictatorial regimes in the world which had the audacity to name a country after its family name!
It is not brotherhood that we start killing one Muslim brother because the other Muslim brother asks us to do so. This insanity is fratricide, nothing else. Muslims dying at the hands of Muslims is a dream-come-true for the Zionists. If one speaks against Pakistan getting involved in Saudi Arabia’s invasion of Yemen, people immediately label him as pro-Iran. It’s time to be pro-Ummah and pro-unity; but it’s also high time we as Pakistanis think about Pakistan first and check where our loyalties lie.
It requires no rocket science to see that the majority of Pakistanis simply do not want Muslims to slaughter each other. Pakistan should do all that is required to end this war, and look for a peaceful solution for Yemen conflict. We should realize that the sectarian card is a smokescreen to hide the real issues behind Saudi Arabia’s invasion of Yemen. The real issues are political and economic in nature and involve major global powers.
Pakistan has been playing and should always play a positive role for unifying the Ummah in the future too. All the Arab leaders too should stop saying ‘the Arabs and the Muslims’ in their every political statement. Arabs are Muslims too, and it’s time they stopped thinking about themselves as above or separated from the rest of the Ummah. Holy Prophet [pbuh] clearly said that no Arab is better than a non-Arab and vice versa. In eyes of Allah, only Taqwa matters.
All I have to say regarding this conflict, boils down to this hadith of the Prophet [pbuh]. Let’s follow his Sunnah and pray for Sham (Syria) and Yemen.
Narrated Ibn ‘Umar: (The Prophet) said, “O Allah! Bless our Sham and our Yemen.” People said, “Our Najd as well.” The Prophet again said, “O Allah! Bless our Sham and Yemen.” They said again, “Our Najd as well.” On that the Prophet said, “There will appear earthquakes and afflictions, and from there will come out the side of the horn of Satan.” Bukhari volume 2 Hadith 147
